Class II devices need a sanitary registration. The regulation gives COFEPRIS 35 days to decide. A favorable report from an authorized third party shortens this to 15 days. Devices known in medical practice that may vary in material or concentration and generally stay in the body less than 30 days. This includes diagnostic agents and software as a medical device in this class.
