What is DataPorium?
DataPorium (dataporium.tech) is a data website, free to explore, that turns official US records into searchable pages and an API. As of October 2026 it covers about 5,000 US-listed companies, more than 92,000 stock trades reported by members of Congress since 2012, county presidential election results from 2000 to 2024, 6,500 hospitals, 8,500 active banks and credit unions, layoff notices, housing markets down to the ZIP code, energy prices and the main US economic indicators.
Is DataPorium free?
Yes. The Explorer plan is free and needs no card. Premium costs $6 a month; the Pricing page lists what each plan includes.
Where does the data come from?
From official records and filings. Every page shows its source and the date the data was last updated.
Is there an API or a way to use it with AI assistants?
Yes. The REST API has 203 endpoints, and the MCP server gives Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants 46 tools that read the same data as the website.
How current is the data?
Market prices update through the trading day. Filings and official datasets update when the source publishes them, and each page shows its as-of date.
