Class 1 devices that are not on the listing list need a license from the TFDA. The application is short: firm license, quality system proof as needed, product description and test data where specified. Low-risk Class 1 devices not handled by listing.
The official review target is 80 days (performance goal). Time the applicant takes to answer questions (clock stops) is not counted. Targets are not actual review times.
The class 1 device license review fee is NT$15,000 for Fee standard amended 2023-02-23.
