Each row is one private offering at its newest filing; an offering is updated by amendments over time. Amount sold is what the issuer had sold when it filed, and the offering amount is the total it wants to raise. Investors counts everyone who had invested so far. Amounts are as stated by the issuer, not verified. Official public data, updated daily. Updated October 9, 2026.
The Private Fundraising screener lists the private offerings that companies and investment funds report in official public filings, from 2009 to the newest day. Each offering shows how much the issuer wants to raise, how much it had sold, how many investors took part, the minimum investment and the exemption it relies on. Filter by industry, state, amount, date or exemption, and open any issuer for its full filing history.
An issuer files a notice soon after the first sale of a private offering and files an amendment when the offering changes, at least once a year while it runs. The screener lists each offering once, at its newest filing. Totals count new offerings in the period of their first filing. Operating companies are shown first because a few very large investment funds would otherwise make up most of the money. Amounts are as the issuers stated them; many funds give no total amount (indefinite), and most issuers do not disclose their revenue. A ticker shows when the issuer is a listed company. Rows marked with an info icon come from the filing itself and are checked again when the quarter's data is complete. Updated daily.
$126 billion. In the 12 months to October 9, 2026, operating companies (not funds) reported $126 billion sold in 9,362 new private offerings; with investment funds the total was $376 billion in 22,160 offerings.
California, with $30.5 billion sold by operating companies in 1,301 new offerings in the 12 months to October 9, 2026. Next: Texas ($14.4 billion), New York ($13.7 billion), Illinois ($12.5 billion).
Other Technology, with $41 billion sold by operating companies in the 12 months to October 9, 2026. Then Other ($33.3 billion), Other Banking and Financial Services ($7.8 billion), Other Real Estate ($5.5 billion).
$1.5 million is the median amount sold in a new operating-company offering in the 12 months to October 9, 2026: half of the rounds raised less and half more. A few very large rounds make the average much higher.
14.9% of new operating-company offerings in the 12 months to October 9, 2026 used Rule 506(c). It lets the issuer advertise the offering publicly, as long as every buyer is a verified accredited investor.
35 non-accredited investors is the limit under Rule 506(b), and a 506(b) offering may not be advertised. Under Rule 506(c) the issuer may advertise publicly, but every buyer must be a verified accredited investor.
The issuer did not set a total it wants to raise. Most investment funds file this way because they accept money for years, so their offering amount is shown as indefinite and left out of offering totals.
No. These are notices that companies and funds file about their own private offerings. The amounts and investor counts are what the issuers stated at the time of filing.
