What is wrong
THE LEFT FRONT TIRE MAY HIT A STRUCTURAL CROSSMEMBER WHEN DRIVEN OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD. IF THE FRONT TIRE SHOULD CONTACT THE CROSSMEMBER, THE MOTORHOME MAY BE PULLED TO THE LEFT AND INTO THE LANE OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THIS WILL BE MAGNIFIED IF THE AIR BAGS IN THE FRONT SUSPENSION HAVE LOST AIR PRESSURE OR IF THE BAGS WERE NOT PROPERLY INFLATED TO 40-50 PSI.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
THE DEALER WILL REMOVE THE IMPROPERLY LOCATED CROSSMEMBER AND REPLACE IT WITH A NEW CROSSMEMBER INSTALLED FARTHER FORWARD TO GIVE ADEQUATE CLEARANCE ABOVE THE LEFT FRONT TIRE. THIS WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
