What is wrong
Autoliv, Inc. (Autoliv) is recalling certain AI2 Seat Belt and Air Bag Initiators manufactured June 16, 2016, to November 4, 2016. The affected initiators could contain an improper generant mix ratio that may prevent the air bags and/or the seat belt pretensioners from deploying in the event of a crash.
What can happen

Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
