What is wrong
Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Blue Arc BA4L-800 vehicles. The headlight horizontal adjustment stud is missing a cover, allowing for horizontal adjustment of the headlight beam. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
What can happen
Adjusting the horizontal headlight beam can create a glare, or reduce visibility for the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Dealers will install a cover over the horizontal adjustment studs, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 14, 2025. Owners may contact Blu Arc customer service at 800-237-7806, or email evsupport@bluearcev.com.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
