What is wrong
C & B Quality Trailer Works, Inc. (C & B) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Horse Trailers manufactured October 6, 2014, to June 29, 2015, equipped with 3500lb-capacity torsion model axles, part numbers B-7100A, B-7110A, HT-35XL, T35545EB, T35545I, T35550EB, T35550HB, T35550I, T35655EB and T35655I, manufactured by Henderson Wheel. The weld that secures the torsion arm assembly may fail allowing the tire, wheel, hub, and torsion arm to separate from the trailer.
What can happen
A separation of the torsion arm can result in a reduction in vehicle stability, increasing the risk of a crash.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
