What is wrong
DECKED is recalling certain CargoGlide Drawer System Brackets, part number A0100-XCGB-BLK. The brackets may have been produced with holes that are too large, which can cause the studs to fail and the CargoGlide unit to extend beyond the tailgate and detach.
What can happen
Unexpected sliding or detachment of the CargoGlide unit can increase the risk of injury.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Owners are advised to remove the brackets and CargoGlide unit off of their truck drawer system until they install the new brackets. DECKED will replace the brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in December 8, 2023. Owners may contact DECKED customer service at 1-208-806-0251.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
