What is wrong
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain Bronco Upfit kits sold as accessory parts with part numbers M-BRONCO-WAD, -WBD, -W3, -W4, -W9, -W10, -W11, and W12. The rearview camera on the spare tire carrier may not be compatible with certain 2024-2025 Ford Bronco vehicles.
What can happen
A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle and increases the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed mailed August 6, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S78.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
