What is wrong
Freedman Seating Company (Freedman) is recalling certain GO-ES Double Flipseat, part number 46183, and GO-ES Double Rigid Seat, part number 92585 passenger seats. As such, these seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."
What can happen
A passenger may remove their seat belt when the retractor locks, increasing the risk of injury.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
