What is wrong
J-Tech Corporation (J-Tech) is recalling certain Icon Alliance Dark, Alliance GT Rubatone, and Alliance GT Horror motorcycle helmets in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, and XXXL. The helmets may have faulty stitching on the webbing possibly allowing the D-rings to separate from the chin strap.
What can happen
In the event of a crash, the helmet may not stay secured to the rider's head, increasing the risk of injury.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
