(Lance) is recalling certain model year 2015 Slide-In Campers and Travel Trailers manufactured August 1, 2014, to October 27, 2014, and equipped with certain Latitude awnings manufactured by Carefree of Colorado. The mounting brackets of the affected awnings may crack, and the awnings may fall.
What can happen
If an awning falls, there is an increased risk of injury to anyone under the awning.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
