What is wrong
Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. (MPA) is recalling certain brake calipers with part numbers BC155111 and BC155110 sold as replacement parts for 2008-2025 Ford E-450 Super Duty vehicles. The caliper piston bore wall may not meet the proper specification, causing the caliper to fracture.
What can happen
A fractured brake caliper can cause loss of brake fluid and brake pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
MPA will work with and reimburse independent third-party installers who will inspect and replace the rear brake calipers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2026. Owners may contact MPA customer service at 1-833-758-0239.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
