What is wrong

What can happen
If too much voltage is applied to the unit and the circuit board becomes damaged, there would be an increased risk of a fire.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Firefly has notified the RV manufacturers that purchased the affected multiplex units and dealers for those RV manufacturers will add an additional circuit module to the existing component board to provide reverse polarity and over-current protection. A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
