What is wrong
Wilson Manifolds Inc. (Wilson) is recalling certain Peter Paul 22X01031GM 12/DC solenoid valves manufactured May 1, 2015, to July 30, 2015. Due to improper welding, the affected valves may separate when under pressure either during installation or during use of the nitrous system resulting in the piston ejecting.
What can happen
If the piston ejects, it can increase the risk of injury to those nearby or possibly damage other nearby components.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
