What is wrong
ShowHauler Trucks, Inc. (ShowHauler) is recalling all 2003-2018 Garage Coach, Motorhome, and Toter Coach recreational vehicles. These motorhomes are equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers that may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.
What can happen
In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
