What is wrong
Trail King Industries, Inc. (Trail King) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Trail King ACS and AACS trailers with aluminum cross members over the suspension. The aluminum cross members may crack in the welded corners where the cross member attaches to the frame beam, potentially causing the suspension to loosen from the frame.
What can happen
If the suspension loosens the frame, it can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Trail King will notify owners, and dealers will replace the cross members, free of charge. The recall began October 24, 2018. Owners may contact Trail King customer service at 1-800-843-3324. Trail King's number for this recall is TK201802.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
