What is wrong
ON CERTAIN FRAMELESS, QUARTER-FRAME AND END DUMP TRAILERS, SMALL OUTER BUSHINGS (LEFT AND RIGHT) ON THE COUPLER PLATE HAVE CRACKED WHICH ALLOWS THE PIN THAT ATTACHES THE DRAFT ARMS TO THE COUPLER PLATE TO SLIP OUT.
What can happen
THE TRAILER COULD TURN OVER WHILE DUMPING OR EVEN BECOME DISCONNECTED FROM THE TRUCK WHEN DRIVING. SERIOUS INJURY OR A FATALITY TO THE OPERATOR, BYSTANDERS OR OTHER MOTORISTS COULD OCCUR.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
