What is wrong
Piaggio Group Americas, Inc. (PGA) is recalling certain 2026 Vespa GTV 310, Vespa Primavera 150, and Vespa Primavera 50 motorcycles in the color Officina 8. The convex mirror warning "objects in mirror are closer than they appear," is missing.
What can happen
Without the convex mirror warning, riders may misjudge the distance of other vehicles, resulting in unsafe lane changes or maneuvers, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
PGA will install new mirrors with the warning message, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2026. Owners may contact PGA's customer service at 212-380-4400, or customercare@us.piaggio.com.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
