What is wrong
Certain Vogue Tyre & Rubber Company (Vogue) Custom Built tires, size 225/50R17, and Signature V tires, sizes 225/50R17, 235/50R18, and 245/45R18, produced in the weeks of 0112-3212 (January 1, 2012 through August 11, 2012) fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles." The tires do not have the full tire identification number (TIN) branded on the tire's outboard sidewall, as required by the standard.
What can happen
In the event of a safety recall, tires missing a TIN from the outboard sidewall cannot be readily identified.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Vogue will notify owners, and dealers will replace the noncompliant tires free of charge. The safety recall began on August 28, 2012. Owners may contact Vogue at 1-800-323-1466.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
