THE A.I.R./ EXHAUST CHECK VALVES AT THE ENGINE MAY MALFUNCTION ALLOWING HOT EXHAUST GASES TO PASS INTO THE RUBBER HOSES WHICH NORMALLY CARRY UNHEATED AIR.
