What is wrong
Zero Motorcycles Inc. (Zero) is recalling certain 2024-2025 DSR/X, DS, DSR, and DSRP motorcycles. The front brake hose may be twisted and become damaged, which can cause a brake fluid leak and a loss of brake pressure.
What can happen
A loss of brake pressure can reduce braking ability and cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Dealers will inspect and replace the hose as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 23, 2026. Owners may contact Zero customer service at 1-888-841-8085. Zero's number for this recall is SV-RCL-025-017.2.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
