Obligations are the money a federal agency has committed to pay under prime contracts with the company and its subsidiaries. They are not the same as revenue: money is often paid out over several years. The US federal fiscal year runs from October 1 to September 30. Totals include the units each company owns today, for all years, also years before it owned them. Totals include every award, while the award list holds awards of $1 million or more. Defense contracts can be published up to 90 days late, so the newest fiscal year is not complete yet. Based on official US government data, updated weekly.
