Stock trades reported by members of the US Congress
Stock trades reported by members of the US Congress in their official House and Senate financial disclosure filings. Amounts are ranges as filed, so value figures are estimates (the middle of each range). By law a trade is filed up to 45 days after it happens, sometimes later.
See the stock trades that members of the US House and Senate report in their official financial disclosure filings. Filter by party, member, chamber, state, symbol, trade type and date, compare Democrats and Republicans, and open the filing behind every trade.
The screener lists every reported trade, with the date of the trade, the date it was filed, the amount range, who owns the asset and how long the filing took. Switch to the member view to rank members by trades or by estimated value, or to the symbol view to see which stocks members buy and sell most and how the trades split by party. The Analytics tab turns the same filters into charts.
To see the trades in one company next to its price, open the stock page and choose Shareholders, then Politician Trades. The same data is available in the DataPorium API.
From the official US House and Senate financial disclosure filings. Members of Congress must report stock trades by themselves, their spouse and their dependent children. Each trade links to the filing it came from.
The filings show a range, such as $1,001 to $15,000, not the exact amount. The estimated value is the middle of the range, so totals are a guide and not an exact number.
The law gives members 45 days after a trade to file it. Some filings come later; these are marked as late. The data on this page is refreshed twice a day.
