What is wrong
Cruiser RV (Cruiser) is recalling certain 2019 Cruiser MPG and Radiance Ultra Light recreational trailers, built on D28H, D35, D40, or D44 trailer axles. The inner hub bearings may not have been sufficiently greased, which can cause the bearings to overheat and fail.
What can happen
If the bearings overheat, the hub may fail, affecting handling and increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Cruiser will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the hubs and bearings, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began December 7, 2018. Owners may contact Cruiser customer service at 1-574-206-7920. Cruiser's number for this recall is 99.03.16.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
