What is wrong
DUTCHMEN IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 COLEMAN, DUTCHMEN, AND FOUR WINDS TRAVEL TRAILERS MANUFACTURED FROM MAY 14, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 29, 2010 FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF PART 567, "CERTIFICATION." THESE VEHICLES WERE MANUFACTURED WITH THE INCORRECT INFORMATION ON THE FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION TAG. THE LABEL LISTS THE WRONG GROSS AXLE WEIGHT RATING (GAWR), THE WRONG NUMBER OF AXLES AND THE WRONG GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RATING (GVWR). THIS COULD LEAD TO AN OWNER OVERLOADING A TRAILER.
What can happen
OVERLOADING THE TRAILER COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
