What is wrong
DUTCHMEN IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2009-2010 DUTCHMAN AND FOUR WINDS TRAILERS MANUFACTURED BY DUTCHMAN BECAUSE THEY FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF PART 567, "CERTIFICATION." THE FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION TAG TIRE AND LOADING INFORMATION LABEL DOES NOT CONTAIN THE CORRECT SIZE.
What can happen
DURING REPLACEMENT OF THE TIRES, A CONSUMER COULD INSTALL THE INCORRECT TIRE POTENTIALLY LEADING TO A CRASH.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
DUTCHMAN WILL MAIL THE APPROPRIATE LABELS TO OWNERS FREE OF CHARGE. IF THE CUSTOMER REQUIRES ASSISTANCE INSTALLING THE LABELS, A DEALER WILL INSTALL THE LABEL. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 4, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DUTCHMEN AT 1-866-869-1109.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
