What is wrong
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Jayco Solstice, Solstice LI, Entegra Coach Expanse, and Expanse LI motorhomes built on Ford chassis. The rearview camera, or 360-degree view camera if equipped, may not display a rearview image when the vehicle is placed in reverse.
What can happen
Loss of the rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Ford or Lincoln dealers will replace the rearview camera, and update the software and wiring as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 18, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is Ford 23V-598.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
