What is wrong
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Vengeance vehicles manufactured December 20, 2013, to November 3, 2014. The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) is less than the vehicle's GVWR represented on its certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
What can happen
A customer may be confused as to actual GVWR of the vehicle, as well as the vehicle's load carrying capacity. Misinformation as to load carrying capacity can lead to vehicle overloading that can cause a tire failure and crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
