ON CERTAIN TRAILER MOUNTED BOOMS, THE HOLD-DOWN LATCHES THAT SECURE THE MAST ARE NOT BEING PROPERLY LATCHED.

AS A RESULT, STRUCTURAL FAILURE OF THE TONGUE TUBE COULD OCCUR CAUSING THE TRAILER TO BECOME UNSTABLE DURING TRANSPORT, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
