KTM IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010 AND 2011 MOTORCYCLES MANUFACTURED FROM NOVEMBER 2009 THROUGH NOVEMBER 23, 2010. DUE TO IMPROPER HEAT TREATMENT, THE HANDLEBAR CLAMPS CAN DEVELOP CRACKS, ALLOWING THE HANDLEBAR TO MOVE FROM ITS SET POSITION.
What can happen
UNEXPECTED MOVEMENT OF THE HANDLEBAR MAY CAUSE THE DRIVER TO CRASH, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN INJURY OR DEATH TO THE RIDER OR OTHERS.
