What is wrong
THE ACCESSORY FEED WIRE ASSEMBLY MAY HAVE BEEN PINCHED BENEATH A MOUNTING BOLT BY THE CLIMATE CONTROL AIR DUCT ASSEMBLY. IF THIS CONDITION EXISTS, A HIGH RESISTANCE "SHORT" MAY OCCUR AND CAUSE THE WIRE TO OVERHEAT.

Recall repairs are free of charge.
DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF THE FEED WIRE IS FOUND TO BE PINCHED IN ANY WAY BY THE CLIMATE CONTROL/AIR DUCT ASSEMBLY, THE WIRE ASSEMBLY WILL BE FREED AND SPLICED WITH CONNECTORS, WITHOUT CHARGE.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
