Prevost Cars, Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2020 X3-45 VIP, X3-45 VIP Entertainer, X3-45 Passenger, H3-45 VIP, and H3-45 Passenger coaches. Due to a missing component, the driver may not be able to adjust the brightness of the dash illumination for the controls and indicators, allowing only the highest level of brightness. A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
