What is wrong
Crossroads RV is recalling certain model year 2015 Sunset Trail, Zinger, and Reserve recreational trailers manufactured February 20, 2014, through February 28, 2014. The affected trailers may have been built with frame spring hangers that may be brittle and susceptible to fracturing.
What can happen
A spring hanger that fractures may result in a loss of control of the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Crossroads RV will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the frame spring hangers, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began in April 2014. Owners may contact Crossroads at 1-855-226-7496.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
