IN THE CASE OF A SEPARATION OF THE TRAILER FROM THE TOWING VEHICLE, A FAILURE OF THE BREAKAWAY SWITCH MAY PREVENT THE TRAILER BRAKES FROM ACTIVATING POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
