What is wrong
Crane Carrier Company (Crane Carrier) is recalling certain 2019-2021 LET2 vehicles. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injector for cylinders four, five, and six may be susceptible to cracking, resulting in a high-pressure fuel leak.
What can happen
A high-pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix
Recall repairs are free of charge.
Cummins will replace the fuel tubes, and install vibration isolators, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 1, 2022. Owners may contact Cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467. Crane Carrier's number for this recall is C2532.

A recall means the maker found a safety problem and offers a free fix; it does not mean every unit has the problem. Units affected are as reported by the company. Popular models sell more and so have more recalls and complaints. Official public data; texts are shortened. A dealer can tell whether a single vehicle still needs the repair.
